Meyla stood outside the entrance to the Conclave, she had hastily switched her red shirt for a white one. Being part of one of the Gruul clans had some advantages. She had kept her greens trousers, she supposed her white hair helped somewhat as the man on the door let her in. It had been a long time since she had heard from the QA and she was curious to see what they wanted from her. As she walked into the main room, she notices many faces, some of whom she knew she recognised from HQ. Slowly Meyla made her way through the crowd, looking for anyone she may know, or at least someone who could tell her what was going on.

"Meyla?" Nabarl said, as he saw what he thought was a familiar face pass through the crowd. As the person didn't turn immediately, Nabarl assumed he was mistaken, and turned back to his small group.
"Hmmm? What's wrong?" Hollie asked "See someone you know?"
"I thought I did, but I guess I was wrong."
"It's not that hard to do in a crowd, when you think about it. Isn't that right, Evelyn?"

Evelyn, who had been spacing, snapped back to attention, "hmm...what? Oh, yeah, I can't tell people apart half the time when they're lined up in front of me, let alone when they're in a crowd. It's hard to tell people apart unless they have some sort of distinguishing feature or I know them very well. You two should feel flattered that I remember your names, sometimes I can barely remember my own. I wouldn't be surprised if your friend is here though, there are a lot of agents on world, and when I was looking through Alice's files I think I saw your name at least five times, so if you Quested or had a history with them worthy of being in their files it's entirely possible that they're here."

"I've only worked with her once." Nabarl said, shaking his head. "I doubt that's why my name showed up so often. Can't discount it, though..."
"Well, perhaps we should move through to the actual meeting place?" Hollie said, indicating a door near the back of the Tavern.

"Yeah that would probably be a good idea," Evelyn muttered, "I think Alice has the next couple of hours planned down to the second and she doesn't seem to appreciate lateness."

Meyla's ears twitched at what she thought was the sound of her name. She couldn't be sure though as there were so many voices in the room. She turned in the direction she thought she had heard it, just in time to see a trio passing through a tavern door that no one else has paid any attention to.
"Hmmm," she muttered as curiousity got the better of her and she decided to follow them.

Alice closed the doors behind the last agent she had accounted for in her records and made her way to the opposite side of the room, where a small raised platform served as a stage. There was already a podium there for her folders, which she organized into a neat stack. She took the time to look around the room, analyzing every single detail of every single thing. Evelyn was off talking to her partner, although she seemed to be pacing restlessly. Alice looked around for other familiar faces, spotting only a few. She cleared her throat loudly. In a typical business setting, that would have been enough to silence everyone and get their attention. In a crowded room full of chatting agents, it didn't quite do the trick.

"Allow me." Hollie said, climbing onto the platform.
"Excuse me." Her voice was soft, but not quiet. A large enough number of the crowd turned to face her, that the conversations began to wither and die, until the people on the stage had their full attention.
"All yours." Hollie smiled at Alice as she stepped back down into the crowd next to Nabarl.
"More magic?" He asked.
"Glamour, but close enough."

Alice straightened her clothes and ran her fingers through her hair before stepping up to address everyone. She looked out over the sea of faces and took a deep breath. "Hello, my name is Alice Gold, as many of you know or can probably guess I am here with the Questing Association. We have all gathered here today simply to check in and organize. This crowd speaks for itself, there are too many of us here. We need to coordinate our missions and make sure that we are doing everything in the most efficient and economical way possible." She looked around, matching faces with files in her head. She appeared to be one of the youngest agents here, which might prove to be a problem because people generally didn't take well to an eighteen year old giving orders.

Meyla walked up to the door and pressed her ear against it, so she could listen into the conversation on the other side. She didn't need to listen for long before she heard the words 'questing' and 'association'. 'Sounds like I should be on the other side' Meyla thought to herself. She turned to see of anyone was watching her before turning the handle on the door.
The door creaked loudly as Meyla walked into the room. So loud that many of the people on the other side turned to watch her enter. She felt the gaze of the young woman on the stage before she saw who it was and immediately apologised.
