(OOC: Well, if you have some free time tomorrow or Saturday, then we should try and move this along, at least to a point where we can have you kidnapped or otherwise waylaid.)

Evelyn looked around, and something occured to her. "Um, Nabarl?" she whispered, "literally everyone in this place is clearly affiliated with the Azorius Senate. It says here, that they're are pretty big on rules. I look like a part of the Cult of Rakdos, a 'thrill-killing, pleasure-seaking force of chaos....'"

"Well, then we should endeavour not to antagonise them. If they're big on the rules, then they shouldn't be big on pre-emptive strikes." He whispered back. "We should also look into getting you a change of clothes..."

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," Evelyn said, sliding all the papers she had read back into the folder. She was straightening them out when a large shadow fell over the table.

Evelyn looked up and saw three large men in ridiculously clean blue and white armor. "We're going to need you to leave with us miss," the one in the center said from under a helmet that shielded almost all of his face, making it impossible to see what he looked like. Evelyn cursed internally in as many languages as she knew and a few that she didn't before standing up slowly and sliding the folder over to Nabarl. "It would seem that I've got to go," she said through clenched teeth, "I'll leave this with you. If you can do anything, that would be fantastic. You might want to have them send you another partner to work with while I am...otherwise occupied. I'll see you-later, I guess." The guards poked her in the back with their swords (flimsy decorative things that probably wouldn't actually do much damage) and led her out the door. She shot a glance back at the booth over her shoulder, wondering just what exactly was happening and what was in store for her.

"Sure. We'll talk later." He said. A few seconds after the door closed behind her, someone took her seat across from Nabarl.
"You should be more careful about the company you keep, Rookie." Said the figure. Her voice lowered. "Or at least read your quests Background information before you arrive on world..."
Nabarl looked around the bar, but since the assumed Rakdos member was no longer present, they were no longer interested in Nabarl, or his new companion.
He lowered his voice to her level. "Higher ups never gave me any, and they didn't give her any time to read hers before they sent her here. Forgive us for not being as evidently well liked as you are by the Association." He offered his hand to the stranger. "Nabarl. And you are?"
She gently shook his hand. "Hollie. Hollie Sith. Who was that you were with? She seemed familiar..."
"Evelyn. Don't know her last name. Vampire."
"Ahh. I see. I've worked with her before."
"So have I. She seems to have worked with a lot of people. Not many glowing reviews from what I hear though..."
"I'll rephrase that then. I've worked well with her before."
"Ok. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, what do we do? We're a quester down, and I have a feeling they aren't taking her away to give her candy..."
"She'll be fine for now. Although she could talk herself out of that position with time, we at least have enough to make a start..."
"Well, you evidently know more than I do. Lead the way..."
(OOC: I'm going to use Hollie to keep the quest rolling until you get back. Figured it was easier than bringing someone else in on a tight schedule.)

Hollie led Nabarl out onto the main street.
"I was told you're a master of observation." She whispered into his ear. "So tell me what you see. And look beyond the surface."
Nabarl looked out into the crowd. They mostly parted around him, and he assumed that was due to his current outfit more than anything else. After a few minutes, he stepped back out.
"They're on edge around Azorians. Something about them worries the mass at the moment. I'm going to assume you were expecting that, and already have an answer.?.." He said after they stepped away from the bustle again.
"The rebellion is against the guilds in general. But they're mostly focused on the Azorians. The public feel the Azorians have strayed too far from their original intent - to uphold the law and protect the innocent. The people have seen them sit back and grown fat, upholding laws that no longer make sense, taking payments to ignore those that do, and actively blocking the new acts that are desperately needed. So the rebellion has decided to bring down the Azorians first." Hollie answered
"And we're here because?..." Nabarl asked.
"QA decided the guilds are necessary to this worlds survival. I was here to gather more information, and to act as back up should you need it. I was told you would be infiltrating the rebellion, but, unfortunately, that may be beyond you, given your unfortunate clothing choices..." Hollie replied
"So, essentially, I've been sent on a fool's errand again, my fellow quester is seemingly in custody, and the QA is antsy about some people disliking something that they should dislike... and I can't do anything because I wore a blue tunic... Why is it that this sort of stuff is starting to sound plausible to me?" Nabarl said, before sighing. "Well, what's the plan?"

(OOC: That sounds good, I think I'm going to bring in one of my characters in a bit too, her name is Alice, as an undercover higher-up in the Azorius Senate because that character actually looks like a prime candidate for them)
Evelyn looked around as she was marched through the crowds. Several people stared and a few of the ones she could now identify as the Cult of Rakdos tried to harass the guards. She was led to a large stone building with a bright blue door covered in silver filigree. The guards opened it and shoved her inside. She was marched through a maze of hallways and down several flights of stairs. Eventually, she ended up in what seemed to be a dungeon. The walls were all stone and the light came from torches in the walls. She was led through a corridor of holding cells and eventually pushed into a fairly large one. The walls of the cell, unlike those of the hallways, were smooth metal. There was a metal bench that could double as a bed on one wall, but otherwise the cell was empty. A guard locked the door behind her and stood just outside the bars, clearly awaiting further orders. She rolled her eyes and sat down.
"Does anyone want to tell me what this is about?" She asked, "I have a lot of work that I have to do, and my friends are going to wonder what's happening to me." The guard didn't move or even acknowledge that she had spoken. "Oi, I'm talking to you buddy, I want to know why I'm here. You can't just hold me without giving me a reason..." well, maybe they can, I have no idea what the laws are like here... she thought.

Evelyn paced around the room impatiently for a while before eventually sitting down. She hadn't been prepared to go on a quest, and her attire was less than appropriate for questing. She had been wearing a leather jacket over a tank top with jeans and knee-high heeled boots, but the guards had taken away her jacket for some reason. They had also taken all of her knives, but not her belt (which was ever so slightly too loose without her sword in it). After a while, a fairly dainty-looking woman with pale skin and blonde hair that was piled on top of her head in something that Evelyn couldn't make sense of came over to the cell. She was wearing a long blue dress with a white corset-type bodice and carrying a very thick folder. Despite her small frame, she seemed to fill a large amount of space. She walked over to the cell and talked with the guard quickly for a moment. He seemed upset by what she was saying, but she was clearly his superior, and eventually he shut up. Evelyn stood and prepared herself for a fight should it be necessary as he opened her cell door, but he quickly pinned her arms down and slipped a pair of handcuffs around her wrists. An extra chain extended from the one connecting the handcuffs, and he handed it to the woman. Evelyn was jerked forward and out of the cell. The guard led the way and the woman and Evelyn followed. As they walked, the woman opened the folder, sliding a paper to the top and leaning so that Evelyn could see it. It was a quest assignment paper from the QA. Oh thank god, Evelyn thought to herself.
