Questers on this world will assume the roles of either Hunters/Huntresses, or Hunters/Huntresses-in-training. The QA will provide them with a weapon that suits both their combat styles and training, but also not stand out on world.
In this world, there are people who can manifest their soul to protect themselves, either by creating powerful barriers, or using powerful magic. These effects can be further fuelled by a substance called dust. It can occur in a powdered form, or crystalised into various gems which can provide a greater effect.
Monsters without souls, called Grimms roam the wild places. Civilisations turn to protectors, named Hunters and Huntresses. One of the academy's who trains these individuals is the prestigious Beacon academy.
Hunters/Huntresses generally train with one weapon - either forged by themselves, for them, or handed down within family lines. Many have two forms - one optimised for ranged combat, and another for melee. It would be foolish to try to use someone’s own weapon against them.
Hunters and Huntresses act within pairs (NB: This does not mean a Hunter and a Huntress), meaning an even number of Questers is required for questing upon this world.
Non-human appearances are valid on this world, to some extent. Animalistic appendages occur in this world. However, those with them are generally prejudiced against. While androids exist, it is recommended that those with cybernetic enhancements or non-organic appearances mask them in the usual manner..
Magic can be openly used, as many of the Aura abilities would be considered magical.
Other rules and info to be added as necessary.
