Name: Robyn Luxli
Age: 59, but looks somewhere in her early 20's
Gender: Female
Race: Evolved Human - Genetic modification and natural evolution has created a race of "evolved" humans with varying powers and/or abilities.
Mortality: 8-Mortal, but ages at 1/3 the speed of standard humans.
Physical Appearance: About 5'9" with an athletic build. Ash blonde hair that becomes black and green at the tips, often with a blue star clip holding it out of her face. Pink eyes. An old scar on her cheek and a tribal tattoo circling her upper arm. Tends to wear blues and blacks, but knows when to blend. Her favourite outfit includes a waistcoat-style sleeveless top with a pattern that looks as though it may actually be a starry sky captured in fabric (there seems to be a dimension to it that the brain can't quite comprehend), a matching cravat and black trousers. Tries to wear comfortable shoes whenever possible.
Weapons: Longbow and sword. Trained in certain firearms, but rarely uses them.
Magic/Skills: Slightly unstable teleportation, including between worlds. Occasional accidental time travel (her teleport occasionally takes her through time, apparently for no reason, but she always seems to end up somewhere she needs to be). She is an able fighter with both bow and sword, and has had brief training in electrical and laser-based firearms.
Background: Born in the 2700's, Robyn was accustomed to a more futuristic life than she ended up with. She was brought up to be a Sky Sentinel, a class of human dedicated to protecting the earth from invaders, though was relieved from duty when her commanding officer caught her stealing a particularly beautiful ceremonial sword. She has kept hold of the sword as a reminder of her past, and calls it 'Starfang' as, regardless of it being ceremonial, it can cut diamond, is made from a meteorite and glints as though a star were embedded in it. As a kleptomaniac she became adept at thievery, though often sought to get rid of the things she had stolen, which earned her a philanthropic reputation. However misguided this may have been at the time, the idea grew on her over the years and when she accidentally teleported back in time she became the source of the Robin Hood legends (which has always rather amused her). During the last great Sky War she was the world's most powerful undercover agent. While adept at fighting, Robyn was actually in the information business during the war. The Allies knew nothing about her, while the Opposition believed her to be a double agent codenamed Lancelot, and sent vital information and troop movements from all over the Opposition. Though a handful of people from within the Alliance knew of Lancelot the double agent only one person knew Lancelot's true identity, and the fact that 'he' was actually female: Her commanding officer, the king. She was, in fact, a triple agent, gathering intel and passing it on to the Allies. One incident occurred, a ruse, to prove to the Opposition that Lancelot was not only trustworthy, but also effective. She passed information to them about a delivery that was vital to a scientist's work to end the war. The Opposition stole the cargo, there was an inquiry which discovered it must have been an inside job and a volunteer was named as Lancelot, a mid-ranking soldier, and supposedly jailed. The real Lancelot, of course, continued working. Her work tipped the balance of the war and may have won it for the Allies, and only one person will ever know who she was and remember, not only her courage, but her name.
Personality: A sly trickster and unwitting philanthropist, Robyn is rarely in a bad mood for long. She enjoys toying with people when it suits her and often goes through life on a whim, a laugh not far away. She also has an uncanny ability to talk her way out of almost any situation, and often appears to be looking out only for herself. However, this is usually a ruse to buy time to work out how to help whoever she's with, or learn how to defeat or escape from whatever she's gotten herself into.
Notes: A little skeletal, I know, but I'll add to it as more of her story comes to me. The description of her was tricky, but this is what she looks like:
