Damien shook Kina's hand back. "I'm not entirely sure but there was a mark on the corner of that page indicating that there was writing in invisible ink". Damien replied shyly.

Kina pulled the page back out and turned it over, staring at it hard. Now she knew what she was looking for, she saw the mark. 'How did I miss that?' She thought to herself, growling angrily beneath her breath. "Do you know an easier way to make it show up? 'Cos I don't tend to carry lemons around with me"

Damien held out his hand for the note.
"I can sort of see into the ultra-violet spectrum". Damien admitted slightly embarassed

Kina passed him the note. "That could come in very useful" she grinned. She looked up to realise she had stepped out into the sun so she shuffled back into the shadows of the tree. "So what's the plan?" She asked as she watched Damien read the note.

"It has it's uses" Damien said off-hand
He read the note through and then looked up at Kina
"I don't suppose you have a compass; do you?" He asked

Kina rooted through her bag, careful not to catch her fingers on the axe, until she found what she had been looking for. She pulled out a small compass and passed it over. "That ok?"

"Thank you Kina" Damien replied
He took the compass and examined it before He turned slowly on the spot until was facing off to his left.
"We are to head in this direction for five miles as the crow flies until we find a small farmhouse. Additional information will be there for us to collect" Damien announced before pocketing the note and compass.

"Lead the way" Kina smiled as she let Damien walk ahead of her. She didn't know what to make of him, he seemed perfectly nice enough but you never can tell. She hoped she could trust him and his directions. Thinking about it she bent down and took her axe out of her bag and attached it to her belt, as no one was around.
"Just in case" she said when she caught Damien's look.

Damien slowed his pace when he had realised that Kina had fallen behind slightly. He noticed the axe hanging at her hip.
'I wonder what kind of reaction that would get from ordinary people' He thought.
"I trust you know how to use that axe and aren't going to hurt anyone unnecessarily with it" He said to Kina

Kina flashed Damien a menacing grin, "I've had plenty of practice, don't worry." She walked a little faster to catch up with him, the axe swinging at her hip. "So, was there anything else on the note, other than it telling us to go to this house?"
