Damien slid out both Tantos and keep looking the house over.
"I have no idea; it could be some creature guarding whatever has us trapped in here" Damien said in a hushed voice.
"Split up and hope to flank it or stick together?" He asked quietly

"I think sticking together may be the best idea, don't you? I mean we have no idea what's in there."
Kina looked at Damien hoping he agreed with her.

Damien looked at Kina and nodded. Moving to the right of the house, he led the way around a corner and paused by an open door.
He could hear ragged breathing inside. Clutching his swords tight, Damien slipped in through the doorway and kept low.

Kina had been about to ask if they were going for stealth or ambush. But having watched Damien's actions she didn't need to ask.
"Stealth it is" Kina whispered as she crouched low, following Damien through the open door.

Damien stuck to the wall, moving slowly through the shadows.
He stopped suddenly and tilted his head as if he had heard something.
Turning to face Kina he pointed towards the next room which appeared to be some kind of lounge.

Kina dived silently behind a table that was facing the doorway into the next room. She peered beneath it through the doorway and saw a candle alight on a table in the lounge. She could hear some breathing coming from the room, but could see no one. Her ears pricked as she stepped slowly around the table and crouched against the wall by the door to the lounge. She peered through and saw a sofa facing away from the doorway. Kina motioned to Damien to come over, as she was sure they wouldn't be seem from this position.

Moving almost as slilently as Kina, Damien crossed the room and crouched on the other side of the door. He peered in to see what Kina had seen and turned to look at her. 'Oh for Orholam's sake what was that blasted hand signal?' Damien thought.
Precious seconds were ticking past, they could be found out at any moment. 'Ah here goes!' Damien thought to himself as he very carefully crept into the lounge. Adrenaline surged through his system and all his senses became heightened.

Kina watched Damien creep into the lounge and crept in after him, the sofa was close to them so she moved to hide behind that. The eerie feeling had gotten much worse, the closer they had gotten to this room.

Damien peered over the back of the sofa for a brief moment before ducking back down behind it. Damien held up three fingers to indicate that there were three people in the room with them. Two the left of the room and one to the right; Damien paused then pointed to one of his swords hoping to indicate that they were armed.

Kina nodded. She thought for a moment then pointed to herself and then to the left, then drew a finger across her throat, trying to indicate that she'd go after them and kill them. She pointed to Damien and to the right and then to her mouth, hoping he'd understand that they needed him for questioning.
She lay her axe on the floor by her side and pulled her bow from her back, sliding on her back along the floor she kept low, notching an arrow as she passed the end of the sofa. The men were so busy talking they didn't see her. She nodded to Damien as she aimed the arrow at one man's head and let it loose.
The arrow flew past the ear of the man sitting closest to her and lodged itself firmly in the eye socket of the second. There were sudden shouts as the remaining men saw the arrow fly. Kina heard the men stand and dropped her bow, grabbing her axe and jumping up onto the back of the sofa, swinging it with such speed the man had no time to react as it sliced cleanly through his neck. His head landed on the floor with a soft 'thump'.
