"Sure! Do you have a GPS of some sort? I don't really know coordinates very well," Alice said, standing up and brushing off her skirt.

"GPS?" Meyla had spent enough time with people that had been to Earth to know a decent amount about the technology here, but this was her first time being here in person.

"Global Positioning System. Since these are coordinates instead of addresses," Alice explained.

"I think I understand," Meyla replied. "Well I don't have one of those. I just remember that the coordinates of this first book are very similar to the ones from where my portal opened up."
Meyla smiled, "Back this way." She began to walk back in the direction that she had originally come from. If her memory served her right, she had walked past what looked like a very old library.

Alice followed Meyla, doing her best to avoid stepping in mud as they made a shortcut through the trees. The library that supposedly contained the book was old and desperately in need of repair. Alice could feel her allergies kicking in as they stepped over the threshold.

Meyla walked into the library behind Alice.
"Now if I were a really old magickal spell book in a dusty old library, where would I hide?" she muttered to herself.
Meyla walked in past the crumbled reception desk and found what looked to be an old stone map of the place. She brushed it off but it was a still little too dark to see what was written. She threw a hesitant glance back at Alice and shrugged, they were the only two there after all.
Meyla lit a fireball in her palm and held it close to the map, to see it better. Unfortunately there were no sections on magic on the map, but she didn't really expect there to be.
"I'd guess it was in their precious books vault. Wouldn't you?"

"That would make sense, unless they didn't realize it was a book on magic. Often times magical books disguise themselves as the least interesting book any non-magic user who looks at it can think of. So to one person it could be a book on mathematics, while for someone else it could look like a book on art history," Alice said. She bit her lip, "I'm not a magic user so I wouldn't be able to find any books under that cloaking spell. Even if I just look for whatever book is least appealing, the book will hide itself by appearing to be mildly interesting but not interesting enough to pick up. No matter what I look for, it will hide it's true nature from me."

A cloaking spell wasn't the easiest thing to break, even more so when the object wasn't in front of her.
"I could try," Meyla said, as she extinguished her ball of fire, "But I'm not sure how well that would go. I have a nasty habit of setting fire to things accidentally, and in this place, that's unlikely to be a good idea..."
Meyla looked back at the now darkened map again, "Let's at least try the vault."

"Sounds like a plan, and anyway, I'm not sure if you would have to remove the spell, just find the book. It is most likely that only magic readers would read the book, so no problem there. The QA never specified either way," Alice said as they headed toward the vault.

The vault hadn't been labelled on the map in the reception area, but Meyla assumed it would be in the depths of the library. They found a set of rickety stairs leading to the basement, towards the back of the reception. Meyla placed one foot gently on the top step and jumped back as it disintegrated beneath her toes.
"This could be a bit of a problem."
