"Nirn? I've never heard of it. Are you sure that's where it is?" Kina's determination at that moment couldn't have been matched by anyone.

"Pretty sure" Katara said with a nod. "That's where I'd place my bets, but for all I know there could be hundreds of worlds with ice and dragons. But, if he told you to come to me and Meyla specifically, I'd say Nirn is a pretty good place to start." She thought for a moment. "When you get there, maybe try, Falkreath. He seemed to like it there."

"Thank you," Kina said in a rush as she headed for the door, "You don't know how much that means to me."
She paused halfway out of the door to say, "I hope the next time we meet is under better circumstances."

"As do I" Katara smiled, warmly. "Kina," she called, as Kina turned to leave again "I hope you find him..." There was a sincerity in her eyes.

"Thank you." With that Kina ran out of the room and down to the portal room. She had her axe swinging at her hip, this time the one that Damien had given her, and her usual pack on her back, she needed nothing else.
At the portal room there was no attendant. Although she knew how to use the simple portals to take her to Earth, she wasn't sure if it would be the same going to a different planet. She input the coordinates and a portal opened up in front of her. Praying to her Gods, she jumped through, hoping she was going to the right place.

Damien walked out of Solitude's large city gates with the last of his supplies hung over his shoulder; despite his continued attempts, no one would allow him to bring his wagon within the city walls. A woman dressed in black robes fell into step beside him and they walked down the path towards the city's stables.
"Any news?" Damien asked
"Yes, we've gotten more people stationed in Dragon's Bridge and our man is now Thane of Falkreath so we have been able to get people into there as well"
Damien nodded as they walked
"Do they know what they are there to do?" Damien asked
"Of course, as do the others"
Damien heaved the last supplies into the back of his wagon and turned to speak to the woman but she had already vanished.
"I hate it when she does that" He muttered
***
It wasn't a particularly long ride down from Solitude to the marshlands where Damien had built his home. It had been little more than a hut when he had a map drawn up and a key made for Kina. His heart sunk with sadness just like it always did whenever he thought of Kina but now was not the time to get all dark and brooding because there was a snow storm building; Damien hoped he would be indoors before the worst of the blizzard hit.
"Halt! Who goes there?" An Imperial soldier demanded aiming his bow at Damien.
"It's me, Damien Logan; Thane of Solitude"
The soldier lowered his bow and walked to stand beside Damien
"We've heard rumours of another bandit gang moving into Winterhold sir. The men and I are concerned about what this means for the war"
Damien looked down at the soldier with a little smile on his face.
"It means that the Stormcloaks are getting desperate. We've got another five men from various Imperial outposts along with another eight of my own men and women to send up to that area"
"May I join them sir? I have family that way, I might be able to get our forces some more assitance"
"Of course, speak to your watch captain in the morning and we'll make arrangements"
Damien whipped the reins to encourage his horse on down the road
"Beware the blizzard that approaches" Damien called as he trundled deeper into the marshes.
Damien carefully steered his wagon along the path that led to his home; there were deep bodies of frozen water on either side of this stretch of solid ground and he had no intention of driving into any of them. He eventually pulled his wagon to a stop by his own stables and looked up at his home. It was a vertiable manor house by now with several bedrooms, a tower on each side of the main buildings, barracks, an armoury, well stocked kitchens, a trophy room, a map room, a library, several studies and a few secrets which very few people knew about. A group of people came to help unload the wagon while Damien climbed down and walked up to a woman dressed in heavy steel armour.
"The builders you requested are here my Thane and are in their own rooms as per your instructions" She told him
"Very good Lydia. I managed to get the last of what we need in Solitude and the delivery from Riverwood is due in the morning as well"
Lydia nodded and opened the doors to the manor to let people carry things inside.
"Nazir and Delvin are waiting for you in your study as well master" Lydia called as Damien entered his home.

((OOC: Winterfell is Game of Thrones... did you mean Winterhold?))
Kina dropped through her portal and landed face down in snow. Standing, she dusted herself off and looked around. There was nothing but snow in every direction for miles.
"Typical," she muttered to herself. Right in front of her was a sign post that had one sign pointing to a place called Whiterun and behind her to a place called Falkreath.
"Falkreath?" Kina muttered, "That's where Katara said to go." Resolving to get moving before she froze on the spot, Kina made her way in the direction of Falkreath.

((OOC: Ah darn it. Thank you for telling me hunni; I've corrected it))
Lydia caught up to Damien as he climbed the stairs towards his bedroom.
"Any orders before your meeting my Thane?"
Damien entered his bedroom and ducked behind a privacy screen to get changed into some dark blue and black clothes then placed his steel armour onto a table at the foot of his bed.
"Double the men's mead ration, ensure they are all fed well and have plenty of thick winter clothes"
Damien left his room, knowing that Lydia would follow.
"It's going to be a big storm by all accounts so we may get snowed in; take all the necessary precautions in case that happens. Have beds prepared for Nazir and Delvin too just in case the blizzard hits early. After all this I do not think I will be requiring anything else so you may retire to your chambers"
"Very good my Thane"
Lydia turned to leave but Damien caught her arm at the last second. He gave her a warm caring smile.
"You've been a fantastic Housecarl to me and I don't know what I could have done without you" He admitted
Lydia smiled and blushed as she wasn't very good with social situations then dashed off to carry out Damien's orders. Damien walked up onto the next floor and opened the dooors to his study. Delvin was seated in a chair by the fire enjoying a glass of mead while Nazir stood at the window watching the snow fall.
"Brothers!" Damien called happily and both men grinned back at him.
They all sat by the fire and Damien poured out some mead for all of them.
"What news from Riften, Delvin?"
Delvin settled back in his chair, the old thief smiled at them before speaking.
"We have made significant inroads into establishing ourselves in the other Holds. Our numbers continue to grow with lots of fresh talent and we are soon to be visited by the Grey Fox himself"
Damien grinned a lot at this last piece of news; he had been eager to meet the famous Grey Fox, leader of the thieves in Cyrodill for quite some time.
"I am pleased the Grey Fox has taken such an interest in our affairs up here"
Damien looked to Nazir and smiled at his fellow assassin.
"And in Dawnstar?"
Nazir smiled as only an assassin can
"We've had success equal to our brothers in the Thieves Guild. Our numbers grow as expected and we too are much more established than we were before. The Hand from Cyrodiil also wishes to journey up to meet us and see our progress"
Damien remembered hearing about the Hand from Astrid a long time ago, they were the four top assassins and the Listener to the Night Mother in Cyrodiil. Apparently at one time each province had its own Hand but after recent events in Skyrim; they had lost theirs and never replaced them.
All three men sat chatting and drinking, whiling away much of the night in each other's company. They had grown as close as brothers during their time together and they trusted each other without a moment's thought or hesitation.

The journey to Falkreath seemed a lot longer to Kina that it actually had been. The snow made the walk longer and she really hadn't been thinking about the clothes she was wearing, so her small black tshirt wasn't really protecting her from the harsh weather. Regardless of that, she was determined and there was no stopping her from finding Damien.
As she got closer to the main city, she could tell she wasn't going to fit in very well. The place looked so... bland. From the straw-topped huts to the main building, it reminded her of Vallhalla. Looking back, she realised she should have asked for more information on this place from Katara.
"Oh well, too late now." she muttered to herself as she made her way through the city. She kept her eyes on the lookout for some kind of inn.
Eventually she came across a sign that looked like it might be a tavern. She walked in and was immediately met by a hushed room and glares all around. This didn't phase her as all she could think of was the fact that it was warm. She carefully made her way over to the table nearest to the fire and sat down, glad of it's warmth.
"Can I help you, miss?" a young woman walking past asked her. Kina looked at her and could see the wonder in her eyes of what she might be. "I'm fine," Kina replied, "Just looking for a warm place to sit for a while."
The woman nodded and rushed off to serve others in the tavern. Kina sat calmly at listened to the whispered words of the people around her.
"What is she?" "I don't know but look at her hands, she has claws." "And pointed ears, you don't think..." "Elf? Yes I thought so when she first came in."
Kina listened to this particular conversation slightly amused. This wasn't the first time she had been mistaken for an Elf or one of the Fae.
From behind her, she heard a young girl's voice, followed by that of an older woman.
"Look at her hair!" "It is most unusual indeed, but we mustn't stare."
Kina sat intrigued by everything she heard, when one conversation worried her more than the others put together. When Kina peered around to see who was talking she saw two men wearing battle armour, their helmets resting on the tables in front of them.
"Thalmor." "You really think so?" "Don't you see her elven features, she's got to be a Thalmor spy."
'Uh oh, this doesn't sound good.' Kina thought to herself. The last thing she wanted was trouble.
As if sensing something was going to happen, the innkeeper walked over to her. "Would you like a room to stay in for the night?"
Kina looked up at him surprised but smiled, "I'm sorry, I have nothing to pay you with." The innkeeper waved her response away and gestured for her to follow him. "Don't worry, for a face as beautiful as yours, I'm sure I can manage to let one night's stay go for free."
Chancing a glance back at the men in armour, Kina nodded and followed the innkeeper to the rooms. She thanked the man as he let her in her room. "It's no problem, in all honesty, if I didn't those men would have killed you, and I don't want any trouble here. If you need anything, I'm only downstairs."
With that the man left her. Kina sighed and shut the door to her room, turning round to lie back on the bed. She was glad that someone here seemed to want to help her, but still she couldn't help wondering how in the hell she was going to find Damien.

Unbeknownst to Kina, one of Damien's spies was sat in a dark corner of the inn; she had been evesdropping on people trying to get some good information but seeing the unmistakable purple haired woman she had been told to look out for a while ago meant that she had other duties tonight. She watched as Kina entered her room then looked to the men in battle armour; one wore iron and the other was dressed in steel armour. They were Stormcloaks but they weren't in the uniforms of Stormcloaks which could only mean that they were undercover. The spy stood up and moved over to the bar, she beckoned the innkeeper over to her and leaned in close to speak to him.
"Valga. Do you know who those men are?" She whispered
"No idea Elisha. They just come in here every day and sit in the same spot drinking. I heard rumours that they were mercenaries but I must confess to not seeing them taking any contracts from well anyone"
Elisha gave the men a furtive glance before turning back to Valga.
"Does Delacourt know how to sing the Age of Aggression?"
"Well yes of course, he is a trained Bard"
Elisha just smiled at Valga then moved over to the Bard who was strumming his lute to provide background music. She slipped him several coins and requested the song. As Delacourt stood in the center of the room and began the song, others soon joined in with him. The song was a pro-Imperial one about crushing the Stormcloaks but it was only played on request. The two men stood and picked up their helmets. Elsiha slipped around the room unseen until she was behind them both. She shoved them both into the nearest men then ducked inside Kina's room as a fight broke out.
